I was in class with my friends and I was so surprised when my teacher said I was the 1st. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I won.

How did you learn about the contest? What made you decide to participate?

Actually, while I was in class, my teacher announced to us that the ENGIE photo contest was taking place. I therefore decided to participate as I like taking pictures.

How did you find the competition? Was it stressful? Was it fun?

It wasn’t actually stressful. In fact, it was fun to take photos and compete with others.

How did you manage to take such a beautiful photo?

I tired to find the best angle and I did my best to take the photo of the spot that would look best.

Would you be interested in choosing a geoscience related career pathway?

Actually, I didn’t have such an aim before participating in this competition. But after participating in the contest, I realized that geology is very fun and that I am interested in it. I would now love to have a career in geology.
