Are you interested in earth science and would you like to know more? Are you aware of the importance of geoscience for society, and the variety of geoscience-related career opportunities? Would you like to know what geoscientists and geo-engineers do in their daily life?

 

The ENGIE project is organising a series of webinars in which female role models will be sharing insights about their career and experience in the field of geoscience and geo-engineering. The webinars will be addressing some of the above questions and participants will have the opportunity to interact with speakers. The sessions are especially addressing 13-18 years old girls, but all participants independently of their age and gender are more than welcome to join.

Prior to the live Q&A webinars, the eight female role models have recorded short videos in which they briefly introduce themselves and share some details about their professional experience and why they chose a career in geoscience.

In the live Q&A sessions, participants will have the occasion to learn more about the role models and ask them questions. There will also be time for a short quiz to test the participants’ knowledge of geoscience. The three following live Q&A sessions are scheduled:
