Here we are (almost) at the end of this exquisite journey (do not forget the prizes!). The #photocontest provided a unique opportunity for teenagers aged between 13 and 18 to showcase their photography talent with respect to Geoscience. Over 135 submissions were received from more than 30 participants.

To have a full view of all the photo submissions please go to the ENGIE project’s Instagram page.

Although we were blown away by each photo submitted by the young contestants, we had to determine a winner. After the number of likes allowed us to highlight the top ten photos, a jury panel of geoscience role models reviewed and determined the top three as well as the winner of the contest.

You may have a look at the top 10 in the following article :

And here is the long-awaited result (top 3 winners) of the #photocontest :

Congratulations to our three winners of this year’s #photocontest. We had hundreds of submissions from participants all over Europe, but you three managed to set yourself apart from the rest with your exceptional, one of a kind pieces.

A special Congratulations to Defne Işik, the winner of the photo contest. Her photo ‘Balonlar’ received 4 votes out of 6 for the first place from the #photocontest’s jury members.
